Summary
[edit]DescriptionPrisoner Lake Fire 8-7-2012 (7743790218).jpg | The fire is burning in steep rugged terrain within the Bob Marshall Wilderness. This fire is being managed for suppression. With higher temperatures and lower humidity, fire activity and behavior increased on Sunday. Although the fire was more active, the fire showed no significant growth in acreage. The fire has burned 3333 acres. Numerous natural barriers of rock have helped contain the spread of the fire. Areas along the northern perimeter were more active. The fire has spotted across the Continental Divide onto the Rocky Mountain Ranger District near Junction Mountain. |
