| Description |
Nederlands: Prinsjesdag 1902. Aanvankelijk werd de Troonrede uitgesproken in de (oude) vergaderzaal van de Tweede Kamer aan het Binnenhof. Daartoe werd tegenover de plaats van de Kamervoorzitter een troon geplaatst voor de Koning en stoelen bijgeplaatst voor de leden van de Eerste Kamer, de leden van de Ministerraad, staatsraden en speciale genodigden. Al met al moet het een krappe bedoening zijn geweest.Sinds 1904 vindt de bijeenkomst plaats in de Ridderzaal die in de jaren daarvoor in gereedheid werd gebracht. Op deze foto gemaakt op Prinsjesdag 1902 is de Ridderzaal nog te zien in de steigers. (fotograaf onbekend). |
