Princess Victoria roro ferry went down during the North Sea flood of 1953. On the 31st January in the year of '53 when the Princess Victoria left Stranraer to cross the Irish Sea a northerly gale was blowing and the sea was mountains high when the Captain sent an S.O.S. Portpatricks tug stood by... unknown. |
