Description

Göteborgs Handels- och Sjøfarts-Tidning den 12. mars 1942. Det er artiklen om tyskernes behandling av nordmenn i fengsler og konsentrasjonsleire som er strøket av den svenske sencuren.

Norsk bokmål: Kopiert fra Riksarkivets Flickr-album «13. Presse», fotografier valgt ut fra «NTBs krigsarkiv - bilder av nordmenn i Sverige under 2. verdenskrig»:
«Norske eksilmyndigheter innså raskt nødvendigheten av en egen informasjonstjeneste. Behovet for informasjon var stort, og det var viktig å kunne informere både alliansepartnere og nordmenn hjemme og ute. Allerede i april 1940 ble det opprettet et eget pressekontor ved Legasjonen i Stockholm. Kontoret kom til å stå meget sentralt når det gjaldt ulike typer nyhetsformidling og arrangerte blant annet pressekonferanser der profilerte personer informerte og talte Norges sak.»
