Description
Maceheads were blunt instruments usually used to hit and crush an enemy's head, but some were only ceremonial objects and symbols of power. They were made of stone, marble, limestone, faience, black syenite among others; the decorations and materials would be different depending on their use. They would be mounted on wooden handles
