Summary
[edit]DescriptionPower line - geograph.org.uk - 207773.jpg |
English: Power line. Old electricity cable being replaced. The copper on the surface has reacted to form the familiar green of verdigris. This is supposed to be Copper (II) ethanoate, I would like to know more about why this particular salt is formed by environmental exposure of copper (the first stage will be forming the black oxide). |
