English: Postville, early June 1977
Another shot on unknown slide film in my unknown vfr camera. It was taken during my trip to Postville, on the North Coast of Labrador in May-June 1977. It was taken on one of the last mornings, so it was June month. That truck was, if I remember correctly, the only automobile in the town; there were boats, skidoos and one bulldozer. But the road was only about a half-mile long, so no one needed a car. The mayor owned the truck. As I've mentioned with the other pictures from this roll, the camera's viewfinder had shaken loose, and I didn't notice. I've rectified that unlevelness a little here, but to go any further would have made it look even more wonky. Shooting into the morning sun, I got a gigantic flare-image of the five-leaf aperture in the lower right quadrant of the picture. |
