Description
English: An incomplete silver twisted bodkin of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1700).

Around 25% of the bodkin or toilet article is present, consisting of part of the shaft and an incomplete eye. The eye would have been sub square in shape, with a rounded terminal. Below the eye, the shaft has a rectangular cross section. The shaft has been twisted with an 'S' twist and extended down to a square cross section.

It measures 39.9 mm in length, 3.8 mm wide and 5.6 mm thick. It weighs 1.9 g.
