Post Medieval rectangular shoe buckle frame
Description
English: A Post Medieval copper alloy rectangular buckle frame. The central spindle and pin are missing. The buckle frame is curved and has a C-shaped section and was probably used as a shoe buckle. It dates from c. AD 1720 - 1790. A similar buckle can be seen in Whitehead (2003) p 104, number 665.
