Description
English: Post Medieval or modern copper alloy 'Paduan' medallion copying a silver denarius of Julius Caesar (RRC 480/6). The medallion has a circular hole through the centre. Z. H. Klawans, Imitations and Inventions of Roman Coins (1977), pp. 20, cf. 2-5.

Obv. C CAESAR DICT PERPETVO; Laureate head of Caesar right

Rev. L BVCA; Fasces and caduceus crossed; in angles, an axe, globe and clasped hands.
