Title
Post-Medieval lead token (obverse and reverse views).
Description
English: The object is an incomplete cast lead token which probably dates to the Post-Medieval period, or 17th to 19th centuries AD. The token is 29.3mm in diameter, 3.1mm thick and weighs 17.57g. The object is mid-brown in colour and is slightly damaged around the edge, where some parts are now missing.

The token is decorated on both sides. On one side is a fleur-de-lis. On the reverse, are the letters ‘H. D. V.’ in capitals across the centre of the token, with a smaller ‘S’ underneath the other letters, between the D and V. The letters and the fleur-de-lis possibly relate to whoever issued the token, although it is not possible to say what the letters represent.
