Post-Medieval Buckle
Description
English: Copper alloy and Iron Buckle. Cast oval frame with vermiform ribbing all around and three spherical knops at either end of a separate steel spindle which has corroded in place. Probably a knee buckle: Whitehead 1996 page 98 no. 605. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1660-1720.

Length: 27.3mm, Height: 21.0mm, Thickness (spindle housing): 5.1mm, Weight: 5.71gms.
