| Description |
Français : on grand oncle Louis Paul Auguste FERRE est né à Bonneval (28) en 1892, il est parti à la guerre, très rapidement, dans le 156° Régiment d'infanterie. Il est décédé le 4 octobre 1914 à Fricourt dans la Somme sur la côte 110. C'est un de ses camarades nommé Estigal qui a écrit à la famille pour annoncer son décés. A priori la famille a renvoyé une lettre, pour demander des explications sur les circontances du dédès. Une réponse a été apportée par le caporal Fourrié qui explique que mon grand oncle est mort par sa faute! Il se trouvait dans une tranchée à 50m des lignes ennemis, suite à un tir sur l'ennemi, il se serait levé pour voir les résultats de son tir et serait ainsi mort de façon irresponsable! La famille n'a pas pu récupérer le corps, comme l'atteste le courrier joint. |
