Original caption: "PORTABLE RADIO ON GRAHAM SCHOOL BUS: Station KGGM, one of the few portable radio stations in the country carrying a federal sanction for wave length, is operated in a Graham Brothers school bus. The truck is accompanying runners in the coast-to-coast 'bunion derby' from Los Angeles to New York, and broadcasts the daily standing of the contestants as well as musical programs. The runners are now in New Mexico headed eastward." |
