Description
English: Sgt. 1st Class Erving Burrows, a transportation management coordinator with the 624th Movement Control Team, under the 16th Sustainment Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, waits for a M2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle to set in place at the Port of Alexandroupolis, Greece March 11, 2024 before it is documented and identified for transport through commercial line haul or rail. U.S. and Greek personnel moved approximately 3,000 pieces of equipment for the 3rd ABCT’s rotational deployment in Europe to deter aggression and assure NATO allies. This mission made sustainment history as it facilitated the reception, staging, and onward movement of the first “heavy” brigade in Greece.
