Description
English: A Porsche 912, used by the Swedish Police Authority in Örebro, County Närke. A total of 22 Porsches were bought by the Swedish Police Authority between 1965 and 1973. Eleven 912:s were purchased between 1965 and 1970, and an additional eleven 911T:s were purchased between 1970 and 1973. All Porsches were phased out by 1978. The police officer in the image is practicing traffic direction at the Kvarntorp Test Track. The track was used extensively to prepare police officers for the Swedish "Right-hand traffic diversion", the switch from left to right hand traffic, that took place on 3 September, 1967.
