Español: Fig. 2: Las características clave del LR en la reconstrucción crio-ET se confirman mediante una reconstrucción crio-EM independiente del X. laevis NPC.

a) Reconstrucción de una partícula NPC representativa mediante promediado sub-tomograma (STA). Se muestran una vista superior y una vista de inclinación de 45 °.
Las subunidades individuales de CR, IR, NR y LR se volvieron a proyectar en los tomogramas originales para permitir la reconstrucción de una serie de partículas NPC.

Aquí se muestra una partícula NPC representativa, que contiene cuatro andamios de anillo: CR (de color amarillo), IR (rosa), NR (cian) y LR (marino). Visto perpendicularmente al NE (panel izquierdo), el IR y LR definen los diámetros interior y exterior, respectivamente, del NPC cilíndrico.
