A rare porcupine quill writing slope.
Two very fine large scale quill boxes, the box on top is from Galle, it is blond and has a very rare interior. The lower box is one of the largest and rarest boxes of its type at just over 14 inches wide.
A cribbage box from Vazigapatam on the Madras coast of India. Constructed with Ivory and horn with fine blond quills. circa 1850
A more common small scale box. Note the dots being further apart and the quills being quite large. This is not the finest box, but it is still attractive.
