Español: Este cartel me conmovió especialmente. Muestra dos caras de nuestro país, el atraso en el que nos encantramos en materia de derechos y la indiferencia y hasta indolencia con la que tratamos aquello que no nos afecta directamente, como los asesinatos de los grupos vulnerables. Esta mujer se yergue valientemente y expresa el cansancio de alguien que sabe que esto continuará y probablemente su país no cambie hasta su muerte e incluso ella sea una más de una muerte estadística en un país escandalosamente mudo, y aún así, apuesta por un futuro mejor en el que los jóvenes queer puedan vivir seguros y libres de todo preuijicio.
English: This poster touched me deeply. It showcases two aspects of our country: the backwardness we find ourselves in terms of rights, and the indifference, and even callousness, with which we treat issues that don't directly affect us, such as the murders of vulnerable groups. This woman stands boldly, expressing the weariness of someone who knows that this will continue, and that her country probably won't change until her death, possibly becoming just another statistical death in a shockingly silent country. And yet, she still believes in a better future, where queer youth can live safely and free from prejudice. |
