Description

Ponte rodoviária em ferro, de um tabuleiro, plano, composto por XXX tramos, sendo o da margem, assentes em XXX pilares de cantaria, de planta XXXX, ; a amarração do tabuleiro às margens é efectuada por pegões-encontro, cegos, sendo o da margem esquerda quadrangular e com as mesmas características. Cada um dos tramos maiores da ponte é constituído por uma armação de vigas formando arco, ligados por quinze vigas mestras dispostas verticalmente e solidarizadas por outras radiais. O tramo mais pequeno é formado por duas vigas principais de alma cheia e por um recticulado de carlingas e longarinas onde assenta o tabuleiro. Inferiormente, a ponte forma sucessivas secções com vigas em diagonal, conjugadas com outras de perfil longitudinal. Sobre esta estrutura assenta o tabuleiro, com pavimento em argamassa betuminosa e dois passeios laterais em chapa estriada; a intervalos regulares, o pavimento tem orifícios para escoamento inferior das águas. As guardas são em gradeamento de ferro, pintado de branco e verde escuro, e, sobre o pilar tronco-piramidal e os pegões encontro, em alvenaria rebocada e cantaria, superiormente terminados em ângulo. <a href="http://www.monumentos.pt/Site/APP_PagesUser/SIPA.aspx?id=25367" rel="nofollow">www.monumentos.pt/Site/APP_PagesUser/SIPA.aspx?id=25367</a>
