Pont Louis-Philippe, devant être démoli; état actuel des travaux du nouveau pont de l'île Saint-Louis
Description
The "Pont Louis-Philippe" was built in 1833. Louis-Philippe himself laid its first stone. The bridge was then damaged during the 1848 Revolution. It was repaired, and its name was changed to "Pont de la Réforme". In 1961 [1861], the traffic had increased, and the original bridge had to be destroyed and replaced by a new one of the same name.
