Français : Nieppe, quartier du Pont-de-Nieppe (France - département du Nord) — Les Ruines entre la Parvis de l'église Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours et le Pont au dessus de la Lys. L'église non visible sur ce cliché est sur la droite. Six plots en pierre bleue de Soignies situés à l'entrée du parvis sont visibles sur ce cliché ; il devait sans doute y avoir un ou deux plots supplémentaires ; à ce jour, cinq plots subsistent. La maison de droite a sans doute pu être été restaurée tant sa structure paraît semblable à celle que l'on peut voir cent ans plus tard. La voie ferrée de la ligne de tramway est à peine visible ; elle fait ici, une courbe devant le parvis. Plus loin les poteaux qui supportaient des caténaires s'étirent vers Armentières. Au tout dernier plan, comme une ombre, seul un café aux abords du pont et de la Lys a résisté aux assauts de la Grande Guerre ; Il sera démoli quelque 25 ans plus tard. |
