| Description |
English: Pond near Watergate Sike, Wark Forest This pond is not marked on OS OL 43. This proved to be an excellent lunch spot as long as the sun was high in the sky. It was enhanced by the appearance of a male and two female Crossbills, not an everyday occurrence. They were followed by a small flock of Goldfinches. For the first time ever when walking in Wark Forest we didn't see any Buzzards. |
