English: Polkemmet Bridge The road above may only be a farm track, but this substantial piece of masonry far outlived the purpose it was designed to serve. Thousants of empty coal wagons passed through here on their way to be filled at the Polkemmet Opencast works. The track bed is all that remains after the junction was closed. |
