Beschrijving : Politieke gevangene uit Indonesië in Nederland: L. A. Benenati
Annotatie : Benenati zat 3 jaar gevangen in Bandoeng in verband met de zaak Schmidt. Samen met een andere gevangene, P. Pöttger, werd hij in december 1956 vrijgelaten en samen met zijn gezin (echtgenote en - volgens de nieuwsberichten- zoons van 4, 10 en 12 jaar oud) werd hij met de Johan van Oldenbarnevelt naar Nederland gebracht. De opgegeven leeftijden van de kinderen lijken niet correct. Emiel Benenati (volgens geneaologise bronnen op 19 oktober 1951 te Bandoeng geboren (overleden op 1 januari 1989) zou ten tijde van de foto dus 5 jaar oud zijn maar is de peuter op de arm van zijn vader. Staand in het midden dochter Jenny. Links oudste zoon Frans. Leonard Anton Benenati (geb. 31-10-1910) is op 14 mei 1999 te Breda overleden. De naam van zijn echtgenote was Nhij Roekijah.
