English: Point Reyes Lighthouse Restoration Project: Partially-painted Clockwork Mechanism Case - June 15, 2019 |
||||
Description |
English: A red cylindrical case in the middle of a small sixteen-sided room. The base and top of the case are painted in white primer. The case has four doors that each span approximately seventy-degrees of the cylinder's circumference. Three of the doors, including the two that are visible, have a large glass window within a brass frame. By June 15, 2019, contractors had painted much of the clockwork mechanism case red. The cast-iron base and top have been painted with a white primer.
