Description Test of new Polaroid circular polarizing filter on unusual cloud over Springfield, VA. Twenty-three minutes before sunset, the sun was to the right in the two-o'clock position, which accounts for the color gradient in the sky as the degree of polarization changes. Mid-tones were reduced in Photoshop to accentuate gradient. Nikon D40, Nikkor 35mm f/2.8 AI @ f/11, ISO 800, 1/160 sec.
