Description
Français : Plaque honorant Guillaume P. Duhesme, apposée sur la façade du caveau DiVin à Mercurey (71).

Enfant de la commune, ce général d'Empire se distingue sur de nombreux champs de batailles européens au tournant des XVIIIe-XIXe s., lors des guerres napoléoniennes.

En souvenir de l'illustre personnage, la petite localité viticole est jumelée depuis le début de décennie 1980 avec Genappe, ville de la périphérie bruxelloise en Brabant wallon, 10 fois plus peuplée qu'elle !
