English: This pipe-threading machine, made by St. Louis business L. M. Rumsey Manufacturing Co., belonged to Stephen Braun (1873-1940), a St. Louis City Stationary Engineer, and then his son Elmer Braun (1907-1965?). Elmer built an addition to his home on the 600 block of Marmaduke Avenue in St. Louis in the 1940s or 1950s, and used these tools when plumbing the home for hot water radiant heating.
