English: Pillmawr Road Malpas The start of Pillmawr Road lies ahead to the left, at the junction with Malpas Road. Pillmawr Road connects Malpas with Caerleon through varying terrain. The section beyond the bridge across the A4042 is narrow, steep and has several sharp bends. The sign warns that Pillmawr Road is unsuitable for HGVs.
Behind the trees in the triangle formed by Pillmawr Road and Malpas Road is a large water pumping tower. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1440132 A small part of its stone wall can be seen on the right edge of the triangle. |
