[edit]DescriptionPilbeamTheatre8.jpg |
English: The main entrance to Rockhampton's Pilbeam Theatre in the suburb of Rockhampton City in the regional Australian city of Rockhampton, Queensland. It was opened on 6 June 1979 by Governor-General Sir Zelman Cowen and named the Pilbeam Theatre as a tribute to Rockhampton City Council mayor Rex Pilbeam who was credited with having the drive to make it possible for the city to have a new cultural hub where live performances could be regularly staged for enthusiastic local audiences. |
