Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_69559_IMG_20200710_130433-01.jpeg Notes: משטרת קטרה היא מצודת טגארט בקרבת גדרה ונקראת על שם הכפר הערבי קטרה ששכן סמוך. התחנה הוקמה על ידי הבריטים ב1940 בעקבות אירועי המרד הערבי הגדול בשנים 1936 -1939 שהביאו להקמת ועדה בראשותו של סר צ39ארלס טגארט. עד מלחמת העצמאות הוחזקה התחנה על ידי שוטרים בריטים וערבים. מבנה המשטרה בנוי בצורת מרובע. בחלקו המערבי ישנו מגדל שמירה גבוה בעל פתחי ירי ותצפית. ב-17 באפריל 1948 השתלטה חטיבת גולני על המשטרה. מפקדי גדוד 53 שכנעו את המפקד הבריטי של התחנה למוסרה ללא קרב. כיבוש כפר קטרה והאזור הושלמו אז. מויקיפדיה
