Français : Pierre sanctifiée du Grand Séminaire (pierre angulaire). Date de fabrication et d'installation : 1954 (posée symboliquement 1954.12.08, posée officiellement 1957.10.06). Localisée sur la partie centrale inférieure du mur extérieur situé entre les deux travées de fenêtres de la
tour d'escaliers située au sud de l'entrée 1 du pavillon Louis-Jacques-Casault (façade ouest), Université Laval. Pierre tirée des cryptes vaticanes près du tombeau de saint Pierre, bénite par le Saint-Père, puis incrustée dans une autre pierre tirée des fondations de l'aile de la Procure de l'édifice du Vieux-Séminaire-de-Québec. Hauteur 1,22 mètre; largeur 0,61 mètre. Les inscriptions de la pierre vaticane sont de plus en plus illisibles, probablement en raison de l'érosion. Inscriptions : E vat basilicae hypogaeis ervtvm a Pio XII pont max salvtare precatione lvstratum primarivm avspicabilem lapidem maiores seminarii quebecensis apostolorvm principis evtaminis picnvs intaminatae romanae fidei insigne Mavritivs Roy archiepiscopvs in iesto imma. concep. b.m.v. veriente anno mariaei MCMLIV sollemnibvs admibitis caerimonis posvit.
