Description

Lorsqu’elle révèle son mystérieux Pic noir, au poignard d’ivoire et à la couronne de feu, la forêt livre un de ses habitants les plus secrets, d’une sauvagerie farouche. La rencontre avec le fascinant oiseau noir nous lie alors par le sentiment merveilleux d’avoir été admis dans son intimité. Malgré sa grande taille, ce martial passerait le plus souvent inaperçu s’il ne lançait au printemps sa salve de mitraillette et son appel sauvage, ou s’il ne se trahissait par les trous béants qu’il inflige aux arbres et aux fourmilières qu’il défonce. voir cette page :
