English: Photography during the First World War A Kodak No 1 Brownie Model B box camera (manufactured 1900 - 1915). The No 1 Brownie, an improved version of the original Brownie which had pioneered snapshot photography for the amateur mass market, was a popular alternative to the Vest Pocket Kodak during the First World War. |
