Description

I took this photo whilst my street (in London) was in the middle of being resurfaced. It shows a newly resurfaced road without any markings. Sorry about the sky - I took it on my phone :)

These are not of asphalt concrete as the road will not have been resurfaced in gravel and gravel is the only coarse aggregate which requires cement adding in for added stability. This is most probably a proprietary surface course such as Tarmac Master pave which is SMA based or another proprietary surface course such as Tarmac's Master flex which uses polymer modified bitumen. Just thought I would set the record straight being a technical controller for Tarmac. —the preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.212.189.121 (talk • contribs)
