English: Picture with a wide view over the earthworks and construction-sites on Oosterdijkseiland in Amsterdam city, April 2005 - including high building-cranes; high resolution photo, Fons Heijnsbroek.
Nederlands: Foto, genomen vanaf het dak van het voormalige PTT Post CS-gebouw aan het Oosterdok - de oostkant van het Centraal Station, Amsterdam in 2005, met een weids uitzicht over de eerste bouwputten en grondwerken op het Oosterdok. Op de voorgrond is de bouwput te zien van de nieuwe bibliotheek OBA, gestart circa 2004; hoge resolutie foto, Fons Heijnsbroek.

Above to the left the tower and dome of the Sint Nicolaas-church; in the middle above in the image is the Central Station with its large old smoke cap roofs; on the foreground the starting construction of the new municipal Library OBA. The picture is made from the roof of the tall CS Post-office, which was in 2011 demolished.
