Description
English: The Dr. Lincoln Johnson Ragsdale, Sr. House was built in 1941 and located at 1606 West Thomas Road in Phoenix, Az. Ragsdale was an influential leader in the Phoenix Civil Rights Movement. He played an instrumental role in the reforms made of voting rights and the desegregation of schools, neighborhoods and public housing. The house is considered historic by the City of Phoenix African-American Historic Property Survey. [1]
