Description
English: State Fair, Raleigh, NC, October 14-18, 1941. Scenes of the State Fair including an overall view of the fairgrounds from a distance perhaps at dusk; the “World of Mirth – World’s Largest Midway” entrance gate; an overall view of the fountain with a group of young women and men in front of it; many different views of the race track and several cars, a bus, and a wrecker truck as well as the stands and crowds; and a few views of an act in which it appears that two acrobats perform on top of a tiny platform balanced on a very long pole up in the air.
