Summary
[edit]DescriptionPetit barrage Castor fiber Ardennes 0010.JPG |
English: Small dam Castor fiber (in French Ardennes) in a wetland Blue molinies ( Molinia caerulea, willow and birch The. small dams are mostly made in the case of peat and dead leaves, branches and consolidated as and when they rise. After a few months, these dams végétalisent, plant roots while helping to consolidate. They filter the water and retain a large part limitiant droughts upstream and downstream flooding. |
