Изображен в мундире офицера Кирасирских полков с орденами святого Анд¬рея Первозванного (лента и звезда) и святой Анны (крест).

В Каталоге 1980 - Гроот Г.-К. Стилистическое и технологическое исследования позволяют предположить, что портрет мог быть написан другим художником, а закончен или „отделан" самим Гроотом (Селиванов 1986*, с. 79).
