Deutsch: Der Berliner Helmholtzplatz im Jahre 1970. Es ist Winter. Die Bäume tragen keine Blätter. Der Platz ist umschlossen von Hausern. Die Perspektive entspricht dem Ausblick aus einem oberem Stockwerk an ebendiesem Platz.

Hoppe schrieb in seinem Tagebuch (1967):

„Heute Morgen Helmholtz Platz von Tilos Bude ausgemalt. In einem Zug 80 × 100. Morgen ansehen. Eventuell etwas weiter machen.“
