Description
English: Cape Canaveral, Fla.— Army Tests the Pershing —The Army's Pershing tactical missile scoots away from the launch pad today on a short-range flight to test its ability to withstand violent gusts of wind. Project officials reported the test was completely successful. The Pershing was fired for the first time from a tracked vehicle.
