Description
English: Perseverance Tavern is the oldest surviving pub in South Africa, the Perseverance Tavern in Cape Town was established in 1808. The Tavern became popular as a cheap place to stay in the early 1800s with travellers disembarking from ships.
This media shows a South African Protected Site with SAHRA file reference New.
