 Polski: Tablica obok pomnika: Peregryn z Wrocławia. Wrocław, Plac Grunwaldzki przed wejściem do Pasażu Grunwaldzkiego.
Napis: Kto zdrożony - niechaj siądzie, kto ciekawy niechaj słucha.Powróciłem właśnie z Anglii by pogwarzyć z wami tutaj. Wiele dni ma podróż trwała, spory świata szmat zwiedziłem, wielu ludzi napotkałem lecz za domem wciąż tęskniłem. Prawdę głosi to przysłowie, że kto sztukę jaką posiadł w każdej ziemi się wyżywi, ale dziad mój, stary wojak, prawił słowa inne zgoła. Mówił: „drogi Peregrynie – lepszy w domu groch, kapusta niż gdzie indziej kura tłusta.” Rację miał staruszek miły – co ja teraz wam potwierdzam swym honorem, oświadczeniem i rycerskim urodzeniem.
