Italiano: Perda Liana
Deutsch: Perda 'e Liana, Ostküste, Sardinien. Eine der bedeutendsten und beeindruckendsten Steinformationen Sardiniens. Das Naturdenkmal besteht aus einem senkrechten Turm, einem so genannten Sporn, auf Sardisch "tonneri", der in den Himmel ragt. Er ist 1293 Meter hoch und wegen seiner eigenartigen Gestalt eines der bekanntesten Naturdenkmäler der Insel. Mit seiner schlanken, eleganten Form liegt er unweit der Hochebene von Tonneri. Der oberste Teil des Sporns ist etwa 100 Meter breit und hat etwa 50 Meter hohe, senkrecht abfallende Wände. Die hellen Ränder der Wände heben sich deutlich von den umliegenden grauen Felsen ab. Die Basis der Gesteinsformation ist kegelförmig. Für die Region Ogliastra stellt dieser Felsturm das wichtigste Zeugnis der Erosion der gewaltigen Jura-Kalksteindecke dar, die dieses Gebiet Millionen Jahre lang überzog. |
