Titel: Penning op de bewaarde rust in de stad Rotterdam
Beschrijving: Vz: wapen van Rotterdam tussen "S" en "C" (Senatu Consulto = de senaat / vroedschap gehoord hebbende); daaronder opgehangen doek waarop tekst. Kz: het altaar des vaderlands, waarop tekst.
Herkomst: Afkomstig uit onbeheerde inboedels uit de Kolonie Suriname, waarvoor de rechtverkrijgenden na onderzoek niet meer op te sporen zijn. Namens het bestuur van de Kolonie Suriname zijn zij ten behoeve van en ter plaatsing in het Museum van Oudheden te Rotterdam aangeboden.
