Description

Penal Servitude by William Beauchamp Nevill (1860-1939), son of William Nevill, 1st Marquess of Abergavenny. He was imprisoned on fraud charges in 1898, and later wrote Penal Servitude (1903). He was imprisoned for a second time for theft in 1907.

This is a first edition of Nevill, William Beauchamp (1903), Penal Servitude, William Heinemann, London. It was first published under the pseudonym W.B.N.
