The church was founded at the same time as the town in the 13th century. Between 1456 and 1463, the church was rebuilt in Gothic style and elevated to a dean's church.

Description
Čeština: Goticky trojlodní kostel prošel řadou úprav a rozšíření. Zevně chrámová loď s presbyteriem vyzdobena červenými sgrafitovými psaníčky. Věž kostela je z roku 1576.
English: The Gothic three-nave church has undergone a number of modifications and expansions. Externally, the nave with the presbytery is decorated with red sgraffito letters. The church tower is from 1576.
