Cubes inspirés par la Kaba et par des objets préhistoriques votifs découverts par l'archéologue japonais Masuda sur un site fouillé près de Shahroud Oeuvres des artistes : Mohammad Mehdi Ghan Beigy (1945, Téhéran) et Marziyeh Karim Zadeh Torabi (1949, Garmsar) Pavillon de l'Iran Palazzo Malipiero, 54ème Biennale de Venise english.irib.ir/radioculture/news/news/item/78099-iran-hi... Comme lors des biennales précédentes, le pavillon de l'Iran présente en 2011 les oeuvres de quelques artistes qui sont dans la ligne idéologique du régime en place. Aucun regard critique ne transparait dans les oeuvres exposées, mais la liberté d'expression n'existe pas dans le contexte actuel iranien. Certaines oeuvres évoquent le patrimoine culturel, les traditions populaires ou les modes de vie traditionnels mais aucune déviance ni même interprétation artistique ne vient pimenter leurs propos. Il en résulte un pavillon particulièrement terne mais on ne s'attendait pas à autre chose. |
